PROJECT IN PALESTINE

Fight against food insecurity

support operation
to Palestinian families

Children do Amanhã is in partnership with the local association in Palestine AOWA for the implementation of the project "Let's be united for Palestine" .

The aim of this project is to distribute food parcels to families displaced from Gaza to refugee camps in Jenin and Tulkarem, through the local association AOWA (The Association of Women's Action).

This project responds to an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe, experienced by these Palestinian families on a daily basis.

Context

Why Palestine?

An unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe!

In Gaza, 1.4 million refugees* are registered out of a total population of 1.9 million.

Thousands of families have been displaced to the Jenin and Tulkarem refugee camps, housing around 50,000 people, but today these camps have become places unfit for human life.

Children are the primary victims of this conflict. They face extreme violence, scenes of horror, and profound trauma that affect their development and future.

We are witnessing an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe!

A daily fight against hunger!

The entire population is suffering from hunger, and an ever-increasing number are at risk of falling into famine. This is an inhumane situation that should alarm us all.

Daily food insecurity!

Children are already dying from starvation and malnutrition, made all the more deadly by disease.

Context
AOWA its history

Daily life in the camps

Families live in terror in these camps, they live in a war zone where everything around them is destroyed.

Suham, a volunteer with the local AOWA association, said: "We were forced to leave the camp quickly, we only took one item of clothing with us, and we don't know what happened to our homes."

The association has been active in several areas since its creation.

Today, in this context, it is carrying out actions to help its displaced and destitute populations located in the camps in Jenin and Tulkarem, as follows:

- Emergency Aid : by distributing food parcels including basic necessities: Rice, oil, sugar, pasta, canned goods, milk, tea

- Financial support : by giving a sum of money that helps maintain life

- Psychological and social support program for mothers and children

"Let us stand united for Palestine"

This project helps organize a rapid and effective humanitarian response to save lives by providing basic necessities.

Specifically, a cotizup fundraising campaign has been launched by Children do Amanhã to raise as much money as possible. The funds will be used to purchase food parcels by the local association AOWA, which will then be distributed to families in the refugee camps in Jenin and Tulkarem.
